My Story and Mission

Hi! I’m Zara, founder of ‘Smalley Wellbeing’, a certified holistic wellness coach and personal trainer.

I am so passionate about all things wellness and living the BEST life we can with the finite time we have on this planet. Each day is an opportunity to live to our full potential but without a healthy mind, body and soul, we are barely scratching the surface.

Having suffered the traumatic loss of my mother to cancer in 2014, I was driven to help people take back control of their health. I believed with the right diet and exercise people could change their own health trajectory, as our genetics only play a small role in the likelihood of developing today’s chronic diseases.

In today’s current healthcare system, there is so much emphasis on cure and the treatment of symptoms, rather than focusing on prevention and getting to the root cause of what is going on. This is where I believed nutrition coaching and personal training really came in.

Now, having spent 10+ years in the wellness industry I now realise that for ultimate health we need to focus beyond nutrition and exercise and take time to understand what is going on at a deeper level.

Understanding that our body, mind and soul are so closely connected is key to achieving ultimate wellness. Had my mum have been equipped with the knowledge I have today on how to truly nurture her body, mind and soul, I am sure her time here would not have been taken so suddenly.

It has been the sense of disconnection towards the current healthcare system that has driven me to ascertain the top personal training qualifications in the UK, enrol in the largest health coaching school in the world, The institute for integrative nutrition and continue my education in the transformative power of meditation and breath work.

My mission is to educate, coach and empower as many people as possible to eat well, think positive and live to become the happiest versions of themselves.
